Chilean Hero of the Week

Although Santiago de Chile isn't known for its South American steaming and sexy energy, some of them (this will be the 1st and last case of stereotyping) definitely have the vibe going. This small boy, carrying the blue and red drum, can be spot and heard (loud & clear) in Barrio Bellas Artes and Bellavista almost everynight.
Seeing him makes you realize how fragile some living circumstances are in the capital. He's just one of the many preteens wandering the streets at night trying to make some money. At the same time, however, his positive and outgoing character tells you he's making the best of it. Bringing a friend or his brother along, he easily entertains his audience. After his mini-show, he'll tell you about the tactics, his drum and this specific performance, as long as you listen ... Too bad, some people don't understand Chilean, but that would never stop him.....
